The Dell Networking M6348 is one of DellTM's advanced blade switches with advanced core switching capabilities for today's data centers. This 48-port GbE Layer 3 switch supports stacking, provides an integrated 10 Gb uplink port, and is IP 6 (IPv6) certified for greater global scalability.

High-performance stacking capabilities, supporting up to 12 systems, plus advanced security and quality of service (QoS) features make this switch a server virtualization, voice over IP (VoIP), Layer 3 routing, high performance computing cluster ( Ideal for applications such as HPPC) and Internet SCSI (iSCSI) storage.
Advanced security
Advanced security: This switch supports access control lists (ACLs) that allow users to perform deep packet inspection. 802.1x port authentication provides single-host and multi-master access. Security is further enhanced by denial of service (DoS) attack protection, which helps protect against common network and CPU attacks.
